The Coronavirus Care Fund (CCF) from the National Domestic Workers Alliance provides $400 in emergency assistance for qualifying home care workers, nannies and house cleaners who are experiencing financial hardship due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Crisis shelter and other assistance for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and violent crime. Also offers “Little Free Pantry” with food and household supplies in front of Alpine location. Terlingua center in the Ghost Town offers food and social services as well.
Offers assistance with paying bills.
Provides free legal assistance to low-income individuals and groups with civil legal issues, such as employment, eviction, foreclosures, public benefits, estate planning, domestic violence/family law and other legal issues.
